The inspiration for this painting arises from the visualisation stemming from my Blue Mountain Lake Bowl that features on track #5 of the CD Deep Stillness beneath the Star. The Star above - the Divine Self - reflects upon the waters on earth - our lower self. Reflection between the higher and lower worlds - As above, so below. Peace and stillness found deep within our being when our consciousness is removed from all of the hustle and bustle of daily living in the Western world in the 21st century. Here is depicted the union between these two aspects of our being and, like Gemini the Twins, the more enlightened brother assists his lower brother up the chain of Life.
