The beautiful Himalayas are the inspiration for the sequence of paintings to illustrate the covers of this Series of 5 CDs. The soft outline of a large mountain gently peaks out of the mist and we are left pondering the process of bringing down into material substance those higher realities and lofty ideals so beautifully reflected in the Himalayan range. A hint of an archetypal reality behind this realm of material forms is hereby suggested. The duration of our short earthly life seems to pale into insignificance when compared to the vast cycles of time represented by the life cycle of these mountains. We need to keep the balance between our inner and the outer reality - between the God-Self Within and that Without, which represents the greater Being within Whom we live and move and have our being. That process is somewhat encapsulated in the saying of Jesus: "Love thy neighbour as thyself." Nonetheless, the importance of the Now is not to be missed - we must ever meet the challenge of the moment with our whole being.
