FOR
SANCTUARY
OF PEACE/TEMPLE OF ISIS
This piece of music is actually
dedicated to the memory of a very dear friend of mine an ‘Inner Brother’ of
The White Eagle Lodge, Sister Isis, with whom I worked from 1970 - 1983. This is
one of my graphic scores, which most represents a painting. PEACE OF THE BLESSED
BUDDHA also started off like this, simply as a painting.
Here we see a Lotus Pool in the sunlight enfolded
in Blue/Violet - indicating a peaceful mood dwelling upon the awesome qualities
of the inner Beauty of Nature including the sense of Transformation of
consciousness into the inner meditative state of communion with inner world
spiritual beings. Following this comes a period of radiating out the spiritual
Light of the Spiritual Sun via the Star of the Star Brotherhood at the centre of
the Cross of Light within the Circle of Light.
This piece begins with gentle windchimes and
strings of very small Indian bells out from which an ancient Tibetan Singing
Bowl emerges which is the 'drone' for the rest of the piece which goes on to
feature two Chinese Bamboo flutes - the first being end-blown (Hsiao) and the
second transverse. There are also sections where several bells join in also.
