Tibet's most famous mantra is OM MANI PEME HUM usually translated as 'The Jewel is in the Lotus'. This Jewel radiates Divine Light from the fiery spiritual realms of Divine Love found implanted deep within the lotus of our Heart Chakra. This spiritual Light can transform our lives, even as the light of the sun transforms the world of nature. Hence, we see this Light catching the peak of a mountain - even as the peaks of the human race (the Masters) are the first to receive and welcome this Light of the World. In the symbolic remoteness of the mountain heights, far away from the troubles of this world, we may enter into communion with the divine via the Way of Fiery Light. May we follow the example of these lofty peaks in reflecting into the material realm of our earthly personality something of that supernal Light residing in our true spiritual Individuality and, having anchored ourselves in this dimension, may we follow the current of Light as it unfolds within our Heart Chakra into compassion and so radiate forth that Light out into the world.
