Nada Yogi

The ancient spiritual Path of Nada Yoga - the Yoga of Sound - inspired this painting. There are three points of focus, each in gold. The sun in the distance, the aura of the master in his body of light, and the nada yogi himself - a Tri-unity representative of the threefold personality and the three-fold individuality linked together in yet another tri-unity. The link between sound and sun is no accident. The Sound of Divine Light.

In Nada Yoga we listen to anahata nada (the unstruck sound) whilst the Indian yogis call the heart centre anahata thereby demonstrating the link between the Heart Chakra and this inner sound. The heart chakra links to the sign of Leo which is ruled by the sun whilst both are of the Fire element (Tibetan system). To the ancients Fire symbolised the energy of Love. Whilst it has been stated that Agni Yoga (the Yoga of fire) is the Yoga for this New Age. No matter, anyone who has felt the stirring of the spiritual Fire within their heart will know of what we speak.
