The ancient spiritual Legend of Shambhala inspired this picture. Down the centuries certain lamas have written about this sacred place and even given maps to help the student to find it. However, these maps are admittedly cryptic in nature and require much spiritual insight to decipher. This is somewhat mirrored by our usual perception of this material world as being real and solid. So here we begin to see forms within the actual shape of the mountain which, acting somewhat like an ancient Russian Icon, provides a window for us into the invisible realms and it is from those realms that all real land lasting blessings come. This coming New Age has been linked to the Seventh Ray of Ritual and Ceremonial Magic and also to the Higher Psychic faculties and hence to the so-called Sixth sense. We can also see the shape of the Horse and this refers to the Coming One, the next Buddha - Lord Maitreya - as He is also associated with this ancient Legend, which legend is also found in China, India and Russia albeit under different names (in Russia it is referred to as Belovodye).
