I first met Roy on 3rd December 1973 after my solo concert at the Wigmore Hall on the day of my father's passing into spirit.
One of his first questions was whether or not I owned any Alice Bailey books. Upon my answering in the affirmative, things progressed very smoothly indeed, branching out into friendship and many meetings deliberating over the eternal mysteries and also numerous more down-to-earth activities such as plumbing, building work, and woodwork.
Roy has a wide range of interests including philosophy and various esoteric branches which he brings to his paintings. I had long admired his work of synthesising these numerous threads into his artistic creations and wanted to include an audio-visual using his paintings on the same evening as the debut of Soul Emanations of a Great ONE (using the paintings of Nicholas Roerich) at St James Church Piccadilly London. I called the piece Monastery of Caves.
Below are a selection of some of his paintings and a link to a website featuring many others and online purchasing of reproductions.
